Fue Micromotor and Fue Manuel

MANUEL FUE – MICROMOTOR FUE
Needle Transplantation – Lateral Slit Transplantation
The factor which makes the difference of the process or result of the hair transplant operations "is not how grafts are taken, but the technique of their transplantation." When you are making your decision, the thing you must question should not be how grafts are taken, but how they are transplanted.
When the grafts are being extracted, a "circular cut" of 0,6-0,8 mm diameter is made around the point which the follicular unit is going out of the skin. This cut ends at the surface levels of the skin without going deep. If this "circular cut is made manually, there is a half-circular movement to the left and right with the graft extraction needle. If it is done by the help of micromotor, circular movement of the same thickness needle powered by the constant movement of the micromotor.
In both cases, important part is the thinness of the extraction needle and the important part for the liveliness of the grafts is not to go too deep under the skin. Micromotor's rpm value should not be high. If these criterias are paid attention to, there is no difference between manuel extraction and micromotor extraction. In micromotor extraction, if a thick needle is used and rpm value is high, donor area might get injured. It is not a mistake based on the micromotor, but it is about the technique of extracting with large volume needles. With large volume needles, donor area is hurt the same by working manually.
The important point, which is not discussed in our country, is that how grafts are transplanted, not how they are taken. There is no difference between manuel or micromotor extraction (provided that same volume needles are used). Naturally, donor area results are the same. Difference is made by the transplanting technique.
NEEDLE TRANSPLANT TECHNIQUE which enables the transplantation of 1200-1500 grafts
This technique is a tedious one both for the patient and the doctor by lengthening the transplant process, but gives really natural results. Grafts are planted with their angles given with thin needles into circular holes. Being put in the holes appropriate for their own shape, gives the opportunities of both working without any harm to grafts, and creating correct angles. Density can be high.
Because of working one by one with thin needles, every session can only include 1400-1500 grafts. So for a 2500-3000 graft operation, 2 days/sessions are needed.
LATERAL SLIT TECHNIQUE which enables the transplantation of 2500-3000 grafts
In Lateral Slit technique, which enables transplanting of 2500-3000 grafts in one session (6-7 hours), holes for putting grafts in are opened previously. For putting the grafts easily, these cuts are swollen slightly.
Grafts are put into these extremely slim and straight cuts. Having the cuts opened previously and swelling the transplantation area slightly, gives the opportunity of working faster. An operation of 2500-3000 grafts will be finished in 1 day. Density can be high
Both techniques can give satisfactory results, if applied by experienced hands.
